Could you briefly introduce yourself?

My name is Hans-Jürgen Schönig and I have done professional PostgreSQL for close to 20 years. As head of Cybertec Schönig & Schönig GmbH I am constantly involved in all kinds of PostgreSQL related projects. My company is providing 24x7 support for PostgreSQL world wide.

How do you engage with the PostgreSQL Community?

We are basically doing PostgreSQL round the clock and therefore we are deeply engaged with the community.

Have you enjoyed previous pgconf.eu or FOSDEM conferences, either as attendee or as speaker?

Yes, I have attended various PostgreSQL conferences for many years now and I will certainly visit more events in the future. PostgreSQL events are special - so why not go there?

What will your talk be about, exactly? Why this topic?

This year I will speak about my favorite topics: Analysis. In addition to that there will be a talk called "Living in GDPR land", which will cover some aspects of PostgreSQL, which are related to data security and the new regulations.

What is the audience for your talk?

Hopefully everybody ;)

What is the one feature in PostgreSQL 11 which you like most?

I like the JIT stuff a lot. It will be perfect for analytics and so on.
